Usually, a year after the release of a new series, NVIDIA always comes up with new variants that do not follow the usual standard. These are GPUs with disabled cores that may be wasteful by default, but the manufacturer prefers to reduce the specifications to match products in lower categories. This means that cards like the RTX 4070 can be sold with the larger AD103 GPU instead of the AD104.
Known and trusted leaker, Mega Size GPU According to Nvidia plans to release new RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 models. The company is said to be manufacturing new Ada GPU variants of the aforementioned graphics cards:
• GeForce RTX 4070: instead of AD104-251 AD103-175-KX
• GeForce RTX 4060 Ti: AD104-150-KX instead of AD106-351
• GeForce RTX 4060: AD107-400 instead of AD106-255
These GPUs can already be found in the latest drivers, so a release is not far away, however, according to the leaker, at least two of the above are not expected before April. If you come across a non-GPU model listed on Nvidia's website, it's likely one of the models listed above, but it's worth keeping in mind that these models are only available in certain regions.
