Official information about the OnePlus 13 cameras has arrived

The OnePlus 13 will be presented on October 31, with a design similar to its predecessor. The device will still have a triple-camera rear design, but it has now been revealed that each photo recording unit will be completely revamped.

Official posts on Weibo, China's favorite social media site, revealed that the primary camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor will be placed on the back of the device, along with a 50MP telephoto camera and ultra-wide-angle modules.

Instead of the usual periscope design, a double prismatic lens is used in the production of the device, which is more compact and easier to install in a thinner body.

The OnePlus 13 camera system is once again being developed in collaboration with the Hasselblad team. The 3x zoom module will have a 33% smaller sensor than its predecessor; It will measure 1/1.95 inch. It is located behind the f/2.6 aperture camera lens and has a circular design instead of a rectangle, which in principle allows more light to enter.

OnePlus even posted camera samples on the social platform to demonstrate what the 13 flagships can do in terms of photography. Obviously, therefore, it is not worth making a serious judgment at the moment, but it is worth considering them as an interesting fact. The OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which – depending on the package chosen – could be accompanied by up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage during assembly.
