Bandai Namco Jump Force is only a few months away and after that, the fighting game can only be had in a disc version.
Bandai Namco Communication According to Jump Force Digital (Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, and Nintendo eShop, steam) is on sale at 8am Hungarian time on February 8th, and we won’t be able to purchase DLC or virtual currency from that point on. That means the Basic Edition will digitally cede PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC trio, and the Jump Force Deluxe Edition will also say goodbye to the Nintendo Switch. In addition, the Jump Force Character 1-14 bundle, Jump Force Character Pass 1-2, and JF Medal are no longer sold digitally.
And this is not a temporary farewell, like Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 (which we wrote about recently), but the final farewell, as Bandai Namco confirmed that on August 25, Hungarian time, three and a half past seven. It’s a.m., online services will also end. This eliminates the need to log into the multiplayer lobby, eliminate online events, clan features, bulletin board and leaderboard, accept rewards, in-game shop and online ranked matches. It will be preceded by the Premium Shop, which will shoot the publisher on August 1.
Being an incomplete online game does not mean that Jump Force will become completely unusable, as offline content, online matches (unrated) and purchased content will continue to work after the servers are closed, and of course can really be taken in disc form from the game, or Digitally (eg due to Steam) via gray import, but can be purchased.
There’s not much chance that fans will bring it back in the future, giving Bandai Namco new life jump Knack strengthAnd But at least in advance, Bandai Namco announced exactly the plans.
