Telex journalist Gergely Bruckner won the Fall 2023 Responsible FinTech Content Award for his article on bank fraud.
According to the jury’s evaluation, the article on bank fraud is a clear and enjoyable read and contains useful lessons. “It is easy to understand, the author has consulted many people, thoroughly researched it and provided practical advice. Through a useful story, he draws attention to avoiding fraud” – He writes in justifying the jury.
Our colleague in the article conveyed the experiences of victims of fraud, presented the methods of the most common perpetrators, namely the practices of banks, and also gave important tips on how to avoid emptying our bank account. “Phishing-based banking attacks have also spread here, and the situation is so serious that commercial banks, Magyar Nemzeti Bank and the police have also intervened.
