Paris 2024 Olympics: After Nike comes under fire over Team USA apparel, fans are outraged over Canada's fit

Nike's Reveal for USA Track and Field, Oregon-based organization, has already heard the anger from fans. With the Olympic Games 104 days away, other news of the day emerged on social media platforms. Tuesday marks a big day as Team Vancouver's Lululemon, working with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), unveiled Team Canada's first summer sports kit ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. And once again, as in USA, fans were not impressed.

The reveal showcased Lululemon's ongoing partnership with COC & CPC as the official uniform for Team Canada. This is the second time the brand has designed the national team's apparel after the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The collaboration presents a collection that revolves around inclusivity, function and national pride. On April 16, multi-platform reporter for CBC Sports and News Devin Heroux shared a tweet on X showcasing the stylish outfits worn by Team Canada athletes while walking the ramp.

The set comes with features like magnetic fasteners and pull rings. Thus, the sensual touch steals the show. They are made to support a variety of body ranges and abilities. In a similar vein, the uniforms blend red, white and other colors in modern silhouettes and Canadian-inspired prints. Among those displaying the equipment were tennis player Layla Fernandez, who proudly wore the red and white uniform, and wheelchair rugby player Zach Madill, who enthusiastically tested the equipment for nearly two years, providing valuable feedback for improvements. Fans and athletes are not on the same page

The reveal sparked a host of comments from excited fans. One fan was completely disappointed, saying. There was no dearth of such statements from the masses. But it seems that this is not the case for athletes.

Seeing our vision from the conversations I had two years ago has really come to fruition, and seeing it as part of the group has been a really good experience.” In the same vein, one fan wrote, adding to the sentiment:
