The four-and-a-half-acre property is located in the hills of Sylmar, Los Angeles, and includes several buildings, including a three-bedroom 1940s farmhouse, a guest house, and an 11-stall farmhouse with a lighted barn.
The actor acquired the property in 1984, a year before he starred in the blockbuster film Dirty Dancing. He named his home Rancho Pizarro, which has been the name of the place ever since.
The property offers rustic tranquility, and highlights include a wood-paneled living room with fireplace and ceiling architecture, a kitchen opening to a glass-roofed dining room, a solarium and a large outdoor pool.
The current owner of the property bought the property from Sweezy’s widow in 2015 for 2.4 million pounds sterling (1.1 billion forints). At the time it was in a somewhat neglected state, but now it has been transformed into a wonderful and elegant luxury retreat.
The master suite, which opens to a stone terrace, is perfect for movie lovers, as the bedroom is equipped with a projector that slides down from the ceiling. There is also a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath, a spacious wardrobe and a dressing room.
The equestrian areas are no less impressive: there is a fully equipped stable for 11 horses, a reception area, a laundry room and two grooming cabins.
