Nearly 300 immigrants will not be launched until they are handed over to their homeland or to a third country.
Nearly 300 people from the United States were temporarily placed in a hotel in Panama. The authorities say that immigrants are not detained, but they cannot leave the hotel until they are organized to return to their country.
Migrants came mainly to the United States from Iran, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan and China, as they were deported according to Donald Trump. However, it is difficult to return these countries to people, so Panama is used as a temporary station.
Security Minister Frank Abugo, Panama, said that as part of the Immigration Agreement between Panama and the United States, traffic has medical care and food, and the United States pays the cost. The agreement was announced earlier this month after the visit of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The first deportation trip arrived in Panama last Thursday, and some migrants will soon arrive in Costa Rica.
Most migrants pledged to return to their country with the help of the International Immigration Organization and the United Nations Refugee Agency, while others are looking for a destination in a third country.
