Persona and Yakuza games may get cinematic adaptations

Both video game series have a huge fan base, but more importantly, the story and even the gameplay in both have great humor and crazy action, so when they reach the big screen, it’s sure to be a lot of fun.

the Shuji Utsumi gave an interview to CNBC, Sega’s first director, discussing how the revival of the Sonic franchise, which is still ongoing, has had positive effects on the company:

We’ve recently revived Sonic, not just by any means, not just in terms of games, but also in movies and TV shows, and Sonic is now also in Roblox… We’re also working closely with LegoUtsumi said, then continued:We have a lot of big franchises, I can’t say too much, but we’re also thinking about reviving other classic Sega titles. There are currently two big names besides Sonic, one of which is Persona. Of course, there are also Yakuza titles. The Yakuza game is really special, but the big event is also coming next year… As I said, we try to be present on as many platforms as possible, like Roblox or movies. All of these titles may return outside the gaming world very soon.

While we wait for potential movie or Roblox game adaptations, we can also enjoy the latest pieces from the franchises, with the Persona series returning on November 17th with the fifth installment, Tactica, and the Yakuza Like a Dragon series Gaiden: The Man Who Cleared His Name on November 9th. The Dragon-like mainstay, Infinite Wealth, will arrive next year on January 26, but the sequel to Persona 3: Reload will also hit store shelves next year, on February 2 to be exact.
