Obviously, Huawei is back in its old habit of delighting us with two high-end models a year, so we can expect the Mate 60 devices to appear sometime in the third quarter of this year. At the beginning of 2023, the P60 mobile phones were launched, which were mainly focused on photography, and in comparison, the Mate 60 models can offer the company’s latest innovations, technological solutions and, of course, excellent cameras.

Looking back, last year’s Mate 50 Pro was both beautiful and well-equipped, because it has, among other things, a primary camera with an adjustable aperture and a water-resistant design, developed by Huawei itself. With scratch resistant Kunlun Glass – iron fist comics anyone? – Debuts with satellite communication and an emergency power saving mode that can be used when the battery is low. In the case of the Mate 50 line, the manufacturer’s XMAGE mobile imaging system has already been used. The agreement between Leica and Huawei expired in 2021, and Xiaomi is currently cooperating with the German company.

We’ve talked enough about last year’s model, let’s see what’s new in the Mate 60 Pro!

One of the leakers tweeted by name @RODENT950 It claims that the Mate 60 series currently consists of 5 models, which means they are developing a mid-range Mate 60E, a base model, and a Pro variant, as well as the Mate RS. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget to count, it’s really only four devices, but one of the models in preparation might be canceled until the presentation. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will likely power the Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, and Mate 60 RS models, unfortunately a version not compatible with 5G networks. Washington still has not relented towards the Chinese company…

Based on the renders posted by insiders, the camera module of the new series will look a little different. This time, it will consist of two semicircles with a horizontal stripe in the middle, the same color as the back of the smartphone. This specimen wears shades of purple.
