Elden Ring is FromSoftware’s next promising game that makes strides in combining the Soulsborne formula and some Sekiro novelties (such as heist) into a vast, open world that helped advance George R.R. Martin’s backstory. The game is very far away, but we were also lucky to participate in the closed technical test last week, where some curious players made a very terrible discovery: they faced a brutal opponent.
The trial version had many limitations, for example, we could only choose from five character classes, and only a small part of the open world could be explored. The latter is true in principle, since ingenious players have found a way to expand the limits of the beta. As usual from Dark Souls, a blurry white texture marked the pitch, and videos of their successful hack or gimmick were created. According to them, it is not very difficult to pass through the white fog, and the trial version allows you to discover a lot even a giant bear. Or what the hell you can see in the recording below.
With the more powerful and deadly grizzly bear beast savage attacks, it practically takes a player’s life force in two hits, and there’s not much you can do about it because of its speed. Or at least as fast as my white giant apes at Sekiro and a bigger hit than the bosses at Soulsborne, plus it’s said to cause poisoning and hemorrhage to secure the naming of You Died. It can be defeated, of course, especially smaller specimens, and according to the attached video, the Earth literally swallowed a giant cat at some point in the fight. This can happen to a player anyway, for example on this The other shot is how the fun ends, though, as he spotted a boss called Crucible Knight Floh, who isn’t visible in this part of the beta.

Bears will probably be included in the full version as well, and they will surely prove to be powerful opponents. Elden Ring will arrive on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022. Here you can read about how to play the game and what settings it will have on different platforms.
