We welcome submissions through April 12 from artists who strive to achieve a new understanding of science, scientists, and scientific methods, paving the way for a new field of innovative artistic practices.
Please ask! – Art Science Kick is a European project that creates and presents three science theater shows at national and international level. Please ask! Unites three innovative cultural organizations: Arte Urbana CollectionFrom Sophia, A Pro Progression-t about Budapest and Dafa Puppet TheaterFrom Prague. The project is an important milestone in the creation of a European network of academic theater professionals. Please ask! Its goal is also for artists to filter the knowledge gained by applying the scientific method more responsibly from assumptions that sound attractive but are not based on scientific evidence.

The focus is on exchanging knowledge and artistic practices and learning about different methods of cooperation between the performing arts and sciences.
The developed methodology will then be used to create scientific theatrical performances.
Each show addresses a different scientific topic and targets different audiences (communities). Arte Urbana Collectif deals with astrobiology and wants to appeal to the general public, Pro Progressione links evolutionary biology and families, and Dafa Puppet Theater brings elements of quantum physics to young audiences through emergent performance.
