UK authorities have been aggressive in their fight against dangerous motorists who drive at high speeds. More than 60 high-value, high-performance vehicles have been seized as part of a sweeping operation. The raids were centred on central London after Westminster residents complained about speeding cars.

The comprehensive operation began in early August, and in cooperation with several authorities, high-value cars were quickly seized from their owners. By the end of the campaign, the authorities had seized cars worth £6 million (2.7 billion forints), including a Bentley, Rolls RoyceFerrari, Lamborghini and McLaren models.

Officials did not elaborate, but photos released by Westminster City Council's press office showed a Ferrari Purosange and a Lamborghini Urus, as well as a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Wraith.

In addition to impounding dozens of vehicles, police also arrested five people. The crimes included “insurance fraud, using a cell phone while driving, and not wearing a seat belt.”
