Polls say the smartest Hungarians

The IQ takes into account the national average score based on the available data.

Hungary ranks first in the list of the smartest countries in the world presented by Forbes magazine in the United States. Hungary ranked 16th in terms of the number of Nobel Prizes, average intelligence quotient (IQ) and school test scores, also lagging behind Denmark, Norway and Australia.

The Japanese, the Dutch, the Americans and the Russians are the absolute leaders of the avant-garde, and in the number of Nobel prizes we have received, the results of our schools are improving.

In an article cited by the economic journal that published the list, national average scores are taken into account in IQ based on available data, and the proportion of students who have achieved a higher score on internationally qualified tests is calculated for school scores.

Kazakhstan, for example, Kazakhstan were very good at this: we took ninth and we were fourth.
