Jungle warfare is the focus of the new pack, and not only are we getting new cloaks and cosmetic items, but a new assault rifle and triple-barreled shotgun will also help spread democracy.
Team Arrowhead came up with another Warbond, which featured a more vibrant jungle-like environment instead of desert and rocky terrain. Of course, the enemies of managed democracy are not staying here either, so the Helldefers team will have new tools at its disposal.
The Viper Commandos Warbond, which can be purchased for 1,000 Super Credits, in addition to several cosmetic items, introduces two new weapons with a focus on close combat. The Liberator assault rifle and the triple-barreled SG-22 Bushwhacker rifle are meant for wreaking havoc on nearby enemies, but we also get a throwing knife. Those looking for more protection will like the PH-9 Predator and PH-202 Twigsnapper mech suits.
The new Warbond also represents a change in the access of this content. And based on player feedback, these packs arrive often and don't seem to be advanced enough. Arrowhead plans to shift from quantity to quality next. Viper Commandos Warband is coming June 13th.
