He complained that no one was speaking up for Donetsk’s water supply, but the Russian strikes were met with harsh criticism. He stated that foreign reactions or falsifying communications would not disturb Russia in carrying out its combat missions.
According to a summary of the Russian economic newspaper Kommersant, Russia began launching massive missile strikes on major Ukrainian cities on October 10, after bombing the bridge connecting Russia with Crimea, which was annexed in 2014, across the Kerch Strait. The latest in a series of large-scale strikes occurred in all regions of Ukraine on 15 November.
Because of the attacks, water and electricity services were cut off in many settlements. According to the newspaper, the last time an air raid warning was issued covering the entire territory of Ukraine was on December 5.
