Average gross income rose by 13.1 percent, average net income by 12.9 percent, and real profits by 9.4 percent compared to the previous year. The average value of gross profits reached 520,000 HUF, and the average value of net profits reached 360,100 HUF, exceeding the same period of the previous year by 15.6 and 15.3 percent, respectively.
August 2024:
• The average gross salary of full-time employees was HUF 628,800, 13.1 percent higher than the previous year.
• The average ordinary gross income (without bonuses, bonuses and special benefits for one month) can be estimated at 601,300 HUF, which is 13.8 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year. The average regular gross income of enterprises reached 600,800 HUF, in the budget sector to 596,800 HUF, and in the non-profit sector to 619,700 HUF, increasing by 13.1, 15.2 and 16.6 percent, respectively, in one year.
• The average net salary without deductions reached 418,100 HUF and 433,100 HUF with deductions, which is 13.1 and 12.9 percent higher than in August 2023, respectively.
• Real profits increased by 9.4% in addition to a rise in consumer prices by 3.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
• Average gross income reached 520,000 Hungarian forints, 15.6 percent higher than the previous year.
• The average value of net profits, calculated taking discounts into account, was 360,100 Hungarian forints, i.e. 15.3 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year.
