The Redmi 13 phone appeared for the first time with a 108-megapixel camera, a few days after a Portuguese store began offering the phone for sale before the manufacturer announced it.
In the numbered Redmi series, this is the first phone with a 108MP main camera. 1/1.66″ Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, 1 by 9 pixel fusion technology, supports 3x sensor zoom. The front camera is now 13 megapixels instead of the previous 8.
Last year's model came with an 18W charger, and the Redmi 13 now comes with a 33W charger. The battery capacity this time is also 5000 mAh (5030), and according to the manufacturer’s promise, the device can be charged within 62 minutes.
On the front of the Redmi 13 phone, we find a 6.79-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 550 nits. The panel uses DC dimming technology. The front panel is protected by Gorilla Glass, but we don't know which version.
The Helio G91 chip is responsible for performance, and it is similar to the G88 chip from its predecessor, but supports 108-megapixel cameras, while the front chip has a maximum resolution of 64 megapixels.
The phone is thicker and heavier compared to last year's model (8.3 mm instead of 8.2 mm, 205 grams instead of 199 grams).
The device comes with several memory storage options: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. The storage space can be expanded using a microSD card, and the device supports a maximum of 1TB. There is also a virtual RAM option available, with which the memory can be “expanded” up to 16 GB at the expense of storage space.
A 3.5mm jack connector and IP53 certification are also part of the kit. The phone comes in black, gold, pink and blue, and the base model is priced at $180 (about 65,000 Hungarian forints). Begins.
