The 24-year-old striker plans to play in the Copa America continental match scheduled for June and July and then in the Five Rings matches, but he told ESPN that it is conceivable that his club will only allow him one match.
“I told them that if they are called up, they want to be there in both tournaments, but they just want to give up one. I think the Copa America, even though I don’t know.” – insidethegames.biz quotes the footballer, who is already 23 years old, so he has crossed the Olympic age minimum, but since he was not past last year’s match, he might be included this year as well. After being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the age limit for football players has been temporarily raised to 24.
“I don’t know if I still have a chance to enter the Olympics in the future, so I want to be there now, I want to play now.” he added.
The Copa America will be held from June 11 to July 10, the Tokyo Football Championship will be held from July 22 to August 7, while the Premier League season ends on May 23. With that in mind, it’s understandable that Everton doesn’t support playing Richarlison nearly all summer, almost without a break.
It is not yet known when the next season of PL will start, but some important people in the team will definitely miss some preparations. Brazil will play as a pregnant champion in Tokyo
