The acting legend reported a strange story.
The octogenarian Robertette Koltai No need to introduce anyone, as Marie Jaszái, award-winning Hungarian actor, film director, worthy artist and hereditary member of the Society of Immortals, has been an unavoidable figure in Hungarian film and theatrical life in recent decades – perhaps that is why the Cultural Center decided Ócs Calling the Legend However, no one expected a two-hour independent evening, nor the events that followed.
Koltai wrote about this in his Thursday open letter posted on his Facebook page:
Independent evenings gave me the same important and exhilarating experiences as formal performances. So far, I've been able to bring joy to my audience almost everywhere – except for one place, and that place is Ócsa! We had a request from the community center in Ócs for a two-hour independent evening, but after two weeks we received a cancellation on the phone saying the mayor wouldn't allow it! You've become persona non grata, dear Ócs fans, although other appearances make up for it. I will not mention the places where my evening of music is welcomed with open arms Laszlo des With his songs.
