ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has expanded its portfolio with three new premium 1440p solutions designed to take the visual experience of PC gaming to the next level. The new products on display at Gamescom 2024 are the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP, ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG, and ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR.

ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP: The perfect blend of speed and image quality

the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP The world’s first 1440p 480Hz monitor stands out from the premium monitor field with this unique combination. Thanks to the anti-glare WOLED panel, we can enjoy deep blacks, vivid colors, and excellent contrast, while the 480Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time ensure an extremely fast, lag-free gaming experience. The monitor also features advanced technologies like ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) and OLED Anti-Flicker to reduce motion blur and screen flicker, so with a high image refresh rate, eSports gamers couldn’t ask for a better monitor.

A number of AI-based features have also been added to the new home screens, such as AI Visual, AI Crosshair, and AI Sniper. AI Visual recognizes the current game and adjusts the image profile accordingly, AI Crosshair can change the color of the crosshair depending on the color of the environment, and AI Sniper is said to be able to recognize when you’re targeting an enemy and zoom in on the image for a better view. Of course, we have yet to test these features directly, but they clearly show how AI can be integrated into new features for gamers.

ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG: Uncompromising Performance

The 26.5-inch ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG also boasts impressive specs and aims to be a new, affordable solution in its class. The 360Hz refresh rate and QHD QD-OLED panel deliver an unparalleled visual experience, while the anti-glare coating ensures smooth gameplay. ELMB and OLED Anti-Flicker technologies are also present here, so gamers can enjoy the smoothest, clearest possible image.

ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR: Esports in the Crosshairs

In the case of the ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR, the combination of a QHD Ultrafast IPS display and G-SYNC Pulsar technology ensures extremely fast response times and minimal input lag. The monitor is the perfect choice for those who are sensitive to the smallest details and strive for the highest level of competitiveness. Here, we have to give up the additional visual experience that OLED technology provides, but the enhanced version of NVIDIA's G-SYNC technology could also be interesting in the field of hardcore esports.
