In Romania, the government of the National Liberal Party (PNL) and the Hungarian-Romanian Democratic Alliance (DAHR), led by Liberal Prime Minister Florin Seto, failed in a parliamentary vote on Tuesday. Before the meeting, the opposition Social Democrats placed a doll of Superman in front of the office of the incumbent Prime Minister.
281 deputies and senators voted on a motion of censure from the opposition Social Democratic Party. It took at least 234 votes to overthrow the government.
The downfall of the Cabinet was due to an open conflict with the Prime Minister, the Romania Rescue Alliance (USR), who resigned from the government in early September and, by voting in a motion of no-confidence, proved that without him the Cabinet had no parliamentary support.
Before the session began, the PSD deputies put Superman on his head in front of the conference room. This refers to a clip the Prime Minister recently posted on his Facebook page, depicting himself as Superman.

The liberals took Molyneux with them with the caption: USR plus AUR (Right-Right Populist Party and Nationalist Alliance for the Unification of Romanians, ed.) Equal PSD.
The government’s censure motion called for immediate departure so that Romania can “recover from the ongoing political, economic and social crisis”, the Transindex.ro online portal reported.
Next, the head of state, Klaus Iohannis, will have to negotiate with the parties on the installation of a new government, while the Seto government will lead the country as a business deputy.
