Samsung has introduced the cheapest new mobile phone of the year, the Galaxy A06, which will go on sale first in Vietnam on August 22, and is expected to be available worldwide soon. The entry-level device will be available in 4 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB configurations, depending on the model in Vietnam, for around HUF 46,000 and HUF 55,000.
Accordingly, you shouldn't have high expectations for the phone, but its 6.7-inch 1600 x 720 pixel display has a 90Hz refresh rate, an 8MP front camera, a 50MP rear camera with a depth sensor, and a MediaTek Helio G85 system chip are powerful enough for everyday tasks.
Other noteworthy features of the Samsung Galaxy A06 include a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, a microSD slot, a 5,000mAh battery, and 25W wired charging. The device will launch with the latest Android 14 operating system, the next two major versions of the system will arrive, and it will receive security updates for four years.
