Samsung's mid-range phones could also get Galaxy AI

Samsung's Galaxy AI AI package is now available for several premium smartphones and tablets. According to the latest information, the South Korean manufacturer wants to go further and may also launch it for mid-range mobile phones. The Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 models are said to get Galaxy AI sometime in the near future.

According to the news, the update required to use the feature pack on the mentioned devices will be released with the One UI 6.1.1 version in August, but in September at the latest. It is not yet known what capabilities will be provided on the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 models, but it is assumed that functions that require more serious computing power will be neglected.

In case you missed it, Galaxy AI is an AI platform that comes with a lot of built-in options for users. Images can be created with it, voices can be converted to text and vice versa, but translation is also in the toolbox. Galaxy AI is optimized by Samsung for its in-house developed Exynos chips, but it can also work on chips from other manufacturers.

The fact that the Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 models also receive AI functions could mean, among other things, that the South Korean manufacturer intends to spread AI services as widely as possible. So, at the moment, we have no idea what functions will come to the mentioned devices, but it is almost certain that some basic options will be included in the reference. It is also possible that more will be added to them later.
