According to information from the Hungarian federation on Thursday, at the meeting of the organization’s bureau, President Hussein Al-Musallam hailed the relationship between the World Federation and Hungary at length, stressing that MÚSZ has not only been a reliable partner in the world of aquaculture for years, but that the preparation, organization and quality of the competitions in Budapest is the absolute criterion. To all the other hosts, the president therefore described the last World Cup in 2022 as the best ever.
In all of this, Sándor Wladár played a prominent role as president, with the Muslim noting that the knowledge and experience of an Olympic champion is always of particular value in running a sports organization.
Sándor Wladár said regarding his successful candidacy: “It is a great honor to be a member of the World Aquatics Bureau. – Hungary has exceptional weight in the world of swimming and water polo, which means that this task is an honor and an honor. At the same time an extraordinary responsibility, and I will do everything “My effort is to ensure, along with my colleagues, those who work in our sports and ours, that we represent our interests as successfully as our athletes have performed in recent years and decades. There is no doubt that it is the success of our swimmers and water polo players that has created Hungary’s true authority in this environment.”
Sándor Wladár was nominated by the MÚSZ after the expiration of the term of the previous member, Balázs Fürjes, and indicated that he did not wish to take another term because of his other important governmental and sports diplomatic duties.
