For the second time, a festival was organized at Bannon University Nagykanizsa – University Center of Circular Economy. Through interactive programs in the hall, the participants were able to get acquainted with the training of the institution, while the main role in the courtyard was light entertainment.
For the event, which was organized this year along with Scholar’s Night, the foundation’s main building was already full at 4 p.m., as well as those interested gathered in the courtyard. Participants were able to learn about the world of science through various experiments and games.
– On the ground floor, experiments dealing with water science are very popular, as they are very amazing, interesting, colorful and smelly. We also have two VR games for today which are also very popular due to the novelty of technology. Plus, you can play with robot toys, robot football, and one of the robot’s arms to even make coffee for those interested, so these are also very popular – we learned from Nicoletta Casas, the general manager.
A water purifier was shown in the water management engineer’s suite, and the use of the device was introduced through an artificially operated lake. According to student Simon Domenech, it is important to convince young people of the importance of water management, as it will be a major issue in the coming decades.
Water management is one of the most important elements of the future. It is definitely important to get acquainted with all this and direct as many engineers, technologists and anyone as possible into this profession and get a job in this profession. Simon Domenech noted that he will certainly have an important future.
After scientific and fun programmes, the festival played the main role in the evening, where students could have fun in the university yard until ten in the morning.
