Science and Innovation Day in Subotica

Science and Innovation Day in Subotica

Within the framework of the project called Serbia as a Country of Science and Innovation, Science and Innovation Day has been organized throughout the country during the last six months with the aim of drawing public attention to the importance of supporting scientific, technological and innovative developments. The 12th Science Support Day was organized in Subotica.

Jelena Begovic, Minister of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation:

The strong economy, free zone, seven university colleges, as well as many young people who are open to innovations, provide a good foundation for one day opening a science and technology park here in Subotica. But we are now working on strengthening the elements of innovation activities.

Stefan Bakic, Mayor of Subotica:

The city of Subotica supports the development of science and innovation, because nothing can contribute to the economic and social development of the country more than a good relationship between science and economics.

At this event, visitors were able to obtain information about support opportunities in the field of technology and innovation. During the event, projects were also presented showing how a good idea can turn into a successful project on the ground.
