Researchers’ Night is a series of free events organized across Europe to promote science and a researcher’s career. Also this year, on the last weekend of September, you can take a look at the secrets of different fields of science. Through entertaining and inspiring lectures, experiments, laboratory visits and other fun programs, all ages can learn about the many new results of scientific research.

The University Center of Kanizsa has also prepared a lot for this event which has been held continuously for 10 years, and for the second year is associated with PENFEST, where they also offer a musical program for the participants, guests and their students during the evening.

Organizers said that IInteractive displays and various experiences It ran from early afternoon until the evening, and there was, for example, a virtual treasure hunt based on augmented reality, as well as a demonstration of solar panels and the installation of a membrane filter. The main program was a group competition, where participants passed through different station points with a ticket, where they learned about the areas of training taught at the university – Marketing, IT, tourism, water affairs – they received questions, however Sustainability and renewable energy topics were also included in the assignments.

The popularity of Researchers’ Night increases every year, more and more people visit it, in addition to their students, high school students and their families also come, because it can be interesting for both young and old who like to learn the hidden secrets of science.
