While returning to the world of Middle-earth hasn’t been an entirely happy thing lately – yeah, Gollum, we’re looking at you – we hope real treasures await fans of co-op games in the dungeons of Mória.
The project was originally revealed during last year’s Summer Game Fest, but with the arrival of a new trailer, we finally found out about the expected release date. Well, the most recently set goal is the fall of 2023, so we don’t have to wait that long to grab a pickaxe and dig ourselves into the belly of the mountains.
By the way, Return to Moria will return players to the times of the Fourth Age, that is, we will be able to taste the period after the events of the legendary trilogy. According to the story, a group of dwarves decided to restore what was before them, and with renewed vigor they try to fill the endless depths of the dark dungeons with life again. It’s just that Middle-earth cannot be called an island of peace even after the story of The Lord of the Rings, so we will have to fight with the most terrible creatures of darkness as well as with an adverse environment and claustrophobia.
In the new trailer we can look at the development of the base and combat for a few moments … Accordingly, the situation does not look very encouraging at the moment, especially in light of Gollum, who started last month in poor condition. Jagged animation and patchy shading f in the second 40 The resemblance of the emerging troll is at least not very warm, but let’s hope for the best!
Either way, Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will not only be coming to PC (Epic Game Store), but also to PS5 and Xbox Series S/X in Fall 2023!
