The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the summit is organized by the Corporate Council on Africa.

Nkosha said Shettima would join other political and business leaders across Africa, the United States and beyond to attend the summit.
According to him, the summit will include high-level dialogues, networking working sessions and plenary sessions, all scheduled at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
He said that the African leaders expected to attend the summit are the President of the Republic of Liberia; Joseph BucaillePresident of the Republic of Malawi; Lazarus Chakwera President of the Republic of Angola, Joao Lourenco.
Nkocha said that other African leaders who will attend the summit are the President of the Republic of Botswana, Mokgweetsi EK MasisiPresident of the Republic of Cape Verde, Jose Maria NevesDeputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Magara Nthumeng.
He said that alongside the plenary session of the summit, Shettima will speak at the roundtable on investing in African infrastructure with a focus on impact and returns.
“ He (Shettima) is also scheduled to speak before a high-level panel on agribusiness, with a focus on moving “from food insecurity to thriving agribusiness.”
In addition, the Vice President will speak at a plenary session on Navigating Africa’s Energy Future as well as chair a session dedicated to promoting the “Invest in Nigeria” initiative.
He is also expected to attend other meetings and gatherings on the sidelines of the summit.
Nkwocha said Vice President Shettima is expected to return to the country at the end of his duties in the United States.
