The mother would feel uncomfortable if her father-in-law traveled in economy class, so her husband came up with an idea. However, the commentators were not getting it.
A mother has to solve a serious family dilemma, her father-in-law and mother-in-law decide to join the family vacation. This could be a problem in itself if we got angry with our partner’s family members, but the mother was initially concerned about the plane ticket allocation.
She said she, her husband, and their children, ages 10 and 11, were upgraded to first class. On the other hand, his elderly father-in-law could only afford economy class tickets.
I am horrified that my father-in-law, who is in his 70s, will be sitting in the back of the plane, while my dear husband and children will travel in big seats.
The woman shared her concerns.
Her husband suggested that the two children swap places with their grandparents and that the children travel economy class. True, it’s an eight-hour flight, but he thinks they won’t have a problem, and if anything happens, they’ll be on the plane, not too far. However, the wife believes that at least one of them should be with the children.
Finally, the big question:
If they change tickets so that the father-in-law can travel first class and the children move to economy.
When sharing the problem, the commenters weren’t getting it. “The couple later joined the flight. If they wanted to fly with you first class, they had to book it.” one commenter wrote firmly. Another had a similar opinion: “I will not let my children smoke so that my father-in-law can sit in a better place. If that had been a problem for them, they would have decided to spend more on the ticket.” There were those who advised that parents should not leave children alone, because if they get scared or there is an emergency situation, it is better if they are with them.
How will you solve the situation?
