Those who want to enjoy the next version of Civilization in the best possible quality will need to buckle up tight. Firaxis also shared three types of device requirements for the upcoming 4X game.
We have some good news and some not-so-good news about Sid Meier's Civilization VII system requirements. The good news is that at the lowest entry level, you won't need a special power plant to enjoy this age-spanning strategy game, but those who want the ultimate experience can expect a very demanding machine. Since the game will be released on consoles (also on previous generation!), we are interested to see how the game performs there compared to maximum PC settings.
For high graphics settings, 4K resolution and 60 FPS, developers recommend components such as an Intel Core i7-1400F processor, AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, GeForce RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 7800 XT video card, and in addition to all this, 32 GB of access memory Random. Of course, this is already the upper limit, and we will be able to start leveling our civilization with a less powerful configuration. Check the Firaxis schedule!
Sid Meier's Civilization VII is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on February 11, 2025.
