Some crazy people downloaded Star Wars Battlefront 2 for free from the Epic Games Store

However, there was still a period between January 14 and January 21 during which we were able to download a free edition of Star Wars: Battlefront II to our library from the Epic Games Store. Given the type of IP we’re talking about, the game was expected to be a part of many. But even so, it feels like a pretty crazy outcome, according to Electronic Arts, as more than 19 million users took over the game during the event.

The news is EA Star Wars Twitter-Page, where we also got an Ewok mirror to enjoy. The creators thanked the players for their continued support for Battlefront II, although they also indicated that they already provided the latest content. So despite the renewed interest, they don’t seem to be looking to improve the game yet. It’s nice to see Battlefront II has hit a lot of folks now (although it’s not in the way EA probably would have liked it) because they most likely bring life to the game. Which doesn’t hurt a multiplayer title.

The future of the Star Wars video player is generally encouraging, as it was recently announced that Massive, part of Ubisoft, has started developing an open world game for the franchise. This does not mean that the French obtained exclusive rights to Star Wars, they were is beingSo there is a possibility that other companies will announce similar projects soon. We already dreamed of a line about the kind of SW games we’d like to see.
