The association’s president Katalin Galliasni-Duza posted about the successful application on her social media page. It is also evident from his position that he attended the announcement of the results that was held in the capital, at the headquarters of the world organization, on Tuesday. His application was among the winners, and thanks to this, the association could realize their dream theater in Chihalmon for local children, parents and grandparents.
In response to our portal’s question, Catalin also revealed that she already has specifics about the stage. One of them is that Szihalmi Magyar Tár-Ház in the settlement houses a children’s center. The implementation of the project will begin on July 1, but from August visitors will actually be received: children, their parents, grandparents.
We also learned that they expect a three-hour work week as a starting point. By the way, they can buy games for more than 1 million forints from the bidding support they won. Some of them will not only be used locally, but can also be borrowed, such as books from the library. They are planning a series of programs in which different age groups can work together, which are innovative, but also emphasize the preservation of traditions.
The project ends at the end of December this year, followed by two years of follow-up. Of course, after this, the theater will not cease to exist, but we would like to continue developing it in an innovative way, – emphasized the head of the association.
