The cloud-based development environment (in which the Japanese company uses Microsoft Azure technology) is not just a single game.
We also wrote about the Super Game announcement in May or November, when SEGA Sammy, SEGA’s parent company, announced that it would invest $882 million over the next five years to realize its Super Game ambitions. According to Utsumi, a Super Game must meet four criteria: to be cross-platform; Have multilingual international development; appear all over the world at once; and be AAA. We’ve already seen something like this from other Japanese publishers (eg Monster Hunter World This is from Capcom, although the PC version arrived months later…).
