Székesfehérvár City Gate – Noémi Kocsis’s Hungarian Shoe List containing 777 stories

On Wednesday, the presentation of Noémi Kocsis’ book The Shoe List – Hungary was presented at the member library of the Vörösmarty Library in Tolnai út. There was a lot of talk in the book house about the only work, Noemi spoke about her work with her distinctive liveliness. We talked to him there.

Look at the quivering style, but we have worked in a workplace for many years, and it is not customary to grow up among good acquaintances.

Your first book was titled The Nurse, and your second book was titled The Boots List. How about you The nurse was the first “product” to appear to you, and was also of national importance because of the shoe list and its theme.

Both were great challenges, and great adventures for me. Scholar Publishing wasn’t aware of my first book, so I signed up with them when I saw their publication, The International Boots List, which featured world-famous places. I applied to make a list of Hungarian shoes. They loved the idea, so this adventure began.

What’s in your boot menu?

Oh, very much everything! My current mood always shows me as a compass for where I want to go. The book is also based on a mood index rather than a geographic segmentation, so it’s probably a little different than a regular guide. Now I’m in a castle, and the mountains of a castle towering in front of me are where I want to reach.

There are 777 places to adventure in the boot menu, so why not increase or decrease?

The explanation is simple. The publisher’s international book is a thousand pages long. If someone took it in their hands and dropped it, they were guaranteed to break their little toe. It is very difficult to comprehend, read and read, despite its undoubtedly an amazing and very imposing volume. While preparing, I saw more than 500 titles in the shoe list in Hungary, because there are many adventures and experiences in Hungary. 666 didn’t go because of the bad sound, 888 was already busy, in the case of 999 the question could have been asked, how could the mad author not think of another exciting place in this small country embraced by fire? So 777 remains.

Did you go through all the places?

number. There is a place that remains an eternal challenge to me, like the water caves under Mount Gellert. I’m sure I won’t fall into the abyss with a bottle. I’m too afraid to go down the slope, I’ve been terrified from the depths since I was a kid. But of course it can’t be missed because it made embers from the depths, it could be fun for someone else.

You’re afraid of depths but what about peaks?

I was last in Essegvár, a family with that name that lived in the Middle Ages. I have visited a castle ruin that no one has heard of. I was there on weekdays, under heavy winds, I thought the dog wouldn’t be here in such tight weather. I was really lonely, I was on level 3 when a nice wine tasting voice said to me hi! I almost had a heart attack, another determined castle visitor was filming in the shadow of the tattered Hungarian flag, so we both learned about Hungarian history then and there.

In the semi-academic book, how much can your own word prevail, i.e. how much can Noemi Kuxis be?

I think that’s enough. Adventures, and destinations giving way, I had to keep the fun, readable tone throughout.

What is the real big adventure among the sites you visited?

Oh, what should I highlight? I love the adrenaline rush challenges. For example, I love to sleigh, the 2 km toboggan run in Sátoraljaújhely is quite a challenge for children and adults alike. But there were plenty of places where it was worth climbing through the woods to the top of the mountain, or to the castle ridge you see there, and when I did, they all remained good memories.

eYour hero, did the nurse go her way?

She now has some peace of mind in her boot menu. Published in 2013, the novel has been to many places around the world, taking pictures of buses, to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, to the European Parliament in Brussels, and its story has already closed.

Do your living, filthy children leave you alone to create peace?

They are two years old, so they are busy now. The little one is fierce, so we’re fine…
