Gergely Hodak, a young player for the Fehérvár Enthroners, made history: he was the first Hungarian player to receive a scholarship at the highest collegiate level in the United States from the Maine Black Bears. With this result, he became the first Hungarian player to play in the first division university championship next year.

Hudák started from the Fehérvár Enthroners youth teams and is currently spending his final year of high school at Kenston Forest High School in Virginia. Thanks to his outstanding performance and athleticism, this Hungarian player was the first Hungarian player to receive a scholarship from the highest college division in the United States.
The University of Maine is a vintage team that played its first game in 1892, in the early days of American football. Since their existence, they have won 571 games and have a total of 13 conference victories. Former Seattle Seahawks star Lofa Tatupu, former New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Mike DeVito, and 2x Pro Bowler defenseman Montel Owens have all come out of college in previous years.
Hudák is not the first talent from Szekesfehirvar to try his luck in the United States. Balint Rindisi is currently studying and playing football at Baylor High School in Tennessee, where he performs well as a defender.
