The Hungarian Academy of Sciences has celebrated the Hungarian flag on November 3 since 1997, and the country has officially celebrated it since 2003. Because on this day in 1825, Istvan Széchenyi donated one year’s income from his estate to found the Hungarian Scientists’ Association, which made it possible to establish the Hungarian Academy of Sciences . However, science is celebrated not only on this day, but throughout the month with lectures, exhibitions, presentations, film screenings and various scientific forums. Jász-Nagykun Szolnok Vármegyei TIT also joined this series of celebrations.
On the occasion of this important month, in November, we welcome our visitors with offers every Friday from 8 pm. The first event has already taken place, but there are still three events remaining on Friday. On November 10, Deák Szabolcs will give a lecture entitled Samples of the Solar System, on November 17, Zoltán Korpás and Zsolt Szabolcs Szabolcs will give a lecture on Procedural Space Simulation, and on November 24, Zsolt Deák and Zsolt Szabolcs Szabolcs will give a lecture entitled Simple Optical Experiments – Reported by Csaba Uglaki , TIT Head of the Urania Experimental Observatory.
