Last weekend, the National Senior Swimmers Open Track Championships was held in Jeola Dr. Carole Riegel Memorial ContestR. The Nyíregyházi Sports Center was represented in the competition by five male and three female competitors. Not anyway. In addition to a total of 5 championship titles (Imre Cseh 4, Miklós Cserés 1), 11 silver medals and 4 bronze medals, Rita Kovács’ “students” have come out with several single records. A highlight of the competition was that Miklós Cserés, who was preparing for his first EC Championship in Rome, completed the 400th distance in mixed swimming and won his age group. Dr. Diana Zokol and Zappulex Bode also considered the competition to be the final stage of preparation for the European Commission.
