The event is organized by the BBC the day after the coronation of the British monarch in May in the gardens of the huge Windsor Castle. Twenty thousand participants will be drawn.
The third British monarch is followed by a huge concert featuring world stars. The coronation of King Charles is three weeks from now, on May 6, organized by the BBC. Buckingham Palace on Saturday revealed an incomplete list of artists, including Take That, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Freya Ridings and Alexis Ffrench. Charles is in his seventy-fifth year of age, making him the oldest crowned monarch in the millennial history of the Anglo-British monarchy.
The coronation ceremony itself will take place in Westminster Abbey in London, accompanied by a series of celebrations for three days, one of the most important events in which will be a large-scale concert on Sunday, May 7, the day after the ceremony will be held in the largest and oldest British royal residence, which rises on The western edge of London and they are in the huge park of Windsor Castle. The audience is also selected in a national lottery organized by the BBC. The lucky winners will receive two free tickets to the huge coronation ceremony in Windsor, which can be watched by a total of 20,000 people at the venue.
In addition to world-famous stars, amateur bands and choirs from various professional and social communities will perform at the musical event. Performers will include, among others, choirs founded by refugees accepted by Great Britain, but there will also be performances by NHS appointed choirs and members of the LGBT community.
Central to the large-scale events is the Grand Coronation Luncheon, a series of street parties organized by communities across the country the day after the coronation, with an expected participation of several million people. The British government has declared Monday 8 May an Extraordinary Holiday, and according to Buckingham Palace, this day will be dedicated to charity and good voluntary service activities done for the benefit of local communities, titled The Big Help Out.
