TCL’s Hungarian subsidiary went live about a year ago, and the company has now indicated that one of the best TVs of the year, the C82, is officially available in Hungary. The product is available in 55 and 65 inch versions for HUF 430,000 and HUF 475,000 respectively.

So, for the money, one gets a QLED TV powered by a small LED backlighting process. The board is made in-house, thanks to the major CSOT company for developing and manufacturing the displays. The model is capable of displaying 3840 x 2160 pixels, that is, 4K, and also guarantees viewing of high dynamic range content. The device is based on the Android TV smart platform, which allows direct access to many applications, but unfortunately the hardware is still weak (MediaTek MT9615 SoC, 4 Cortex A73 cores, 3 GB RAM, Mali-G52 GPU). The integrated sound system is more powerful than average with two 15-watt speakers and a 20-watt subwoofer. Part of the product is an accessory called Magic Camera, which can be clipped onto the chassis with magnets and can be easily removed when not needed. This can come in handy during video conferences and chats.
