In both the computer and Android versions of Google Chrome, the simplified mode of web pages can be called: texts are stripped of distracting elements, and they become more comfortable to read.
Google recently made it possible for users to turn on so-called reader mode in the desktop version of Chrome. This is a feature that displays text on web pages, such as articles, in a more readable version.
This feature must be turned on separately in Chrome. On your computer aa chrome://flags Click on the link to find Reading mode The function is called and its value is changed shorteningon maybeRepeats. Then restart your browser to finish setup. If you then land on a page full of text, open Chrome’s sidebar — by clicking on the light- and dark-colored icon in the upper-right corner of the browser — and set your reading mode. The result will be like this.
The same is now available in the Android Chrome app. To activate chrome://flagsMust be searched for Contextual Page Actions – Reader Mode option, then a hypothetical value maybeRepeats. then Reader mode antiquities option, and then shortening value alwaysChange to After that, all you have to do is restart your browser.
If so, a small icon will appear next to the address bar during mobile browsing, through which the browser displays the text in a simplified, easy-to-read view.
At this point, it is important to note that mobile development is not very stable at the moment. In our experience, in many cases the icon does not appear.
