Netflix is preparing a gift for the last customers of the mail DVD rental business, and those who order in time before the end of September will do well.

As we reported in April, after 25 years, Netflix is saying goodbye to its first service, mail-in DVD rentals, so now the focus is 100 percent on streaming.

In light of the fact that DVD and BluRay have practically disappeared in recent years, it’s surprising that they’ve made it this far, especially since the name Netflix is practically synonymous with streaming.

This year, on September 29, the company will deliver the last DVD package, and on this occasion they are preparing a surprise: the discs received in this way no longer need to be returned, and people can keep them forever, without additional costs, writes the Techcrunch.

In addition, the rule is relaxed even before the final order: the last order can contain up to 10 DVDs, so a smaller collection can be collected.

After a quarter of a century, Netflix is finally saying goodbye to DVDs – and Netflix discs collected by users are sure to appear on the online marketplace soon, perhaps for significant amounts over time.
