For those who were hoping Bandai Namco’s fighting game wouldn’t take up too much space, we have some bad news.

Tekken 8 is the last of the big three to arrive. Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 have already been released this year, and while the latter hasn’t made it to the finish line, the fighting community has reason to celebrate. There’s reason to be excited, as Tekken 8 isn’t far away.

According to Bandai Namco’s plans, the 3D Fighting Champion will also be renewed in January 2024, but everyone must prepare for the fight. Those who want a stable rate of 60 frames per second will need a solid PC.

Due to the way the netcode works, fighting titles are locked to 60fps by their creators, and in many cases, you can’t even participate in ranked matches if you don’t have the required performance. The hardware requirements below represent the absolute minimum you will definitely need to achieve the specified frame rate.

Tekken 8 game requirements

Tekken 8 minimum device requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti or AMD Radeon R9 380X
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Storage: 100 GB free space

Recommended system requirements for Tekken 8

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Storage: 100 GB free space

During our recent beta test, we got more stable performance than in our first round of testing, and we also had plenty of graphics options to fine-tune everything. If you’ve been tinkering with your PC for the past couple of years, you’ll probably be fine when Tekken 8 hits PC (along with the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) on January 26, 2024.
