In the first match, the Greek tennis player instantly broke his opponent and confidently won the set 6: 3.
In the second set, both held serve, not even getting a chance to receive until the shortened period. The default turned out to be incredibly dramatic, the Greek could not take advantage of three match points, and Medvedev was able to take advantage of the fourth set point to equalize (13-11).
In the last game, they brought their serve to 3: 3, but then Tsitsipas stumbled, and Medvegiev could not serve for the match. However, at 5: 4, the winner of last year’s US Open reached only 15-0, Tsibash returned to the match, and once again the tiebreaker decided the match and, at the same time, the fate of the match.
The Roland Garros finalist dominated the shortened match last year, winning it 7-1, so he’s also one win and one win in the set, as Andrey Rublev does.
