CD Project has finally made it clear what’s included without purchasing the add-on.
According to current plans, the first and last main content addon for Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on September 26, 2023, but Phantom Liberty, which has never been heard of before, will not be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, only on PC/PS5/Series consoles. Xbox.
The fact that update 2.0 of the game is running on all platforms in the form of a free patch can be used to make up for this bottom line. Unfortunately, during the gamescom announcement it wasn’t entirely clear what would be included and what would be part of Phantom Liberty, but CD Project has finally clarified the situation.
Free Update 2.0 includes:
- Redesigned skill and perk trees
- Redesigned cyber software and new capabilities system
- Car fights and chases
- Improvements in combat AI
- New police system
- User interface improvements
- Changes in loot, items, and crafting
- New radio stations including Community Growl FM
Add-on Phantom Liberty:
- Dogtown – a dangerous new neighborhood
- New story and characters
- New missions, jobs and boss fights
- Vehicle missions, airdropped cargo loot, and endless dynamic events
- Over 100 new items – weapons, cyberware, cars and outfits
- Rocket launchers on vehicles
- Raise the limit level to 60
