Anastasia Balaszczuk, The President of Queensland announced Tuesday, with the government confirming, within the deadline set by the International Olympic Committee, that it will partner with Queensland to finance the development of the necessary infrastructure for the five-episode event.
“Thank you, Prime Minister Scott Morrison, for reacting so quickly, because the most important thing is to be able to meet the deadline.” Said Palaszczuk, citing MTI.
The International Olympic Committee announced in February that it would favor the city of Brisbane among its 2032 applicants, and to have a targeted dialogue with the Australian city, it is also likely to be granted a settlement as early as July this year. This has been called a “sudden decision” by most of the countries and cities interested in the 2032 Olympics.
The telegram office indicated that New Delhi, Jakarta, Istanbul, St. Petersburg, and two Chinese cities, Chengdu and Chongqing, as well as North Rhine-Westphalia and Doha, had indicated so far, and on April 1, Seoul and Pyongyang announced that they will jointly apply in 2032 and the event. To consider and carefully consider the issue of the application, the Presidency of the Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) decided on January 27 to establish the Budapest Committee 2032, which held its inaugural meeting on February 23.
This is the first time that the International Olympic Committee has not issued a tender for a settlement, which it has announced is another attempt to make the five-ring Games cheaper.
The Tokyo Olympics, which has been postponed from last year to the summer of this year due to the coronavirus epidemic, is scheduled to start on July 23, according to what MTI has been looking forward to.
