In its latest arms shipment, the British government plans to send Challenger 2 tanks and AS90 self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine.
The UK Ministry of Defense recently published a Facebook post outlining the combat vehicles’ exact capabilities, highlighting the Bulldog as well as the Challenger and AS90. However, in the post about the Bulldog, they didn’t post a picture of the Bulldog, but of a Warrior infantry fighting vehicle, which is not only a completely different type of vehicle, but also has a different function, since it’s an infantry. A combat vehicle, not an armored personnel carrier.
The Russians should be afraid now because the British Ministry of Defense can’t tell the difference between a warrior and a bulldog.”

This is not a bulldog picture. That’s really really cute, lol…”
– writes another.
I like how the Department of Defense does not know its combat vehicles … “
– writes a third commentator.
There were harsher comments in closed Facebook groups. On the armored warfare forum, they write: “The whole world is laughing at the British Ministry of Defense. How could such a mistake be made? – Asks a commentator.
As commentators point out, the post is cheesy simply because it does not show competence on the part of the British government if their Ministry of Defense cannot tell the difference between their own types of vehicles of very different appearance and functionality. All this happened at a time when the whole world was watching Great Britain, in connection with its prominent role in supporting Ukraine.
