The Syrian Ministry of Defense said on Monday that the operations between the Syrian security forces and the fighting against the Assad regime were completed.

“Work continues in public institutions, and basic services are available again. (…) The process began to return to daily life, as well as security and restore stability,” Colonel Ghaanus Abdel -Defense, in a statement published in X. He added that they will continue their efforts to eliminate the remains of the previous government and prevent future threats.

The fighting began last Thursday after the loyal warriors of the Assad regime launched them in Latakia Province on the beach. The attack took place three months after the opposition warriors led by the Islamic rebel group Tarr (HTS) canceled the country for 24 years.

Among the victims, 745 civilians, 125 security forces and 148 were loyal to Assad.

Ahmed Hussein, the transitional head of Syria, called on a national unit on Sunday and also announced that he would find the perpetrators of violent clashes and “anyone who hurts civilians who can rely on severe punishment.” The Presidential Office also stated that a committee will be established to investigate to investigate clashes and killings on both sides.

“We were able to prevent the attacks of the former regime's remains and their officers, thwart their sudden strikes, and we were able to suppress them from vital centers, and provide most of the main roads,” said Ahmed Hussein Asmour on Monday.
