Last week, Samsung’s Colombian division mistakenly confirmed the release date of the Galaxy S23 models, but the prematurely published event page was quickly removed after the blunder. Now, however, the South Korean giant has started sending out invitations to the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held on February 1, where the main focus will be on the new flagships.
The next Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in San Francisco at 19:00 Hungarian time, which will be the first such event to be held live since the coronavirus outbreak. Of course, those who cannot attend in person are not left behind, they can follow the developments on Samsung’s official website and its YouTube channel.
It is true that Samsung did not specifically mention that the Galaxy S23 smartphones will be unveiled at this event, but the text attached to the invitation states very clearly:
“A new era of Galaxy innovation is coming. Our innovations are designed to bring incredible opportunities to people today and beyond. The new Galaxy S series will be the embodiment of how we define the ultimate premium experience. We are raising the bar and setting a new standard for epic experience.”
The new series is expected to consist of 3 smartphones, with the Galaxy S23+ coming alongside the base model, and the larger and better-equipped variant is the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is rumored to debut with a 200MP primary camera. At the presentation, you can also expect the arrival of new laptops, but at the moment not much is known about them.
