We can say that last year’s premiere of Crysis Remastered left behind more woodpeckers than satisfied fans. The revamped FPS, which was considered one of the most beautiful versions, was not, to put it mildly, as beautiful as expected today, as it had technical problems.
However, the krytk and the Saber Interactive He jumped at the fact that episodes two and three of the trilogy have also been watered down a bit. The final result will be released in a collection called Crysis Remastered Trilogy. Of course, the updated versions of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 will also be available for purchase separately.
The developers say that the revamped versions will be specifically optimized for the new console generation. These will work in dynamically changing resolutions between 1080 and 4K at 60 frames per second. In addition, they promise to significantly revamp the light shadow effects, get more detailed models of characters, weapons and elements of the environment in general, and add high-resolution textures to the games.
Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One on October 15. The games will also be available to purchase separately from this day. However, Nintendo Switch versions are expected to be released later. ■
